Given Uganda’s history, it is no longer a question of whether or not to have a national dialogue. It has been a call of religious leaders and the elders who have experienced the changes in the country’s development over the years. At a meeting in Kampala to discuss the roadmap to the national dialogue, the organizers who are members of the Inter-religious council and the elder’s forum, participants raised concern about the implementation of the recommendations from the talks.
